THE INITIATION

The question wasn't "why can't I find the right man." It was "why do I keep showing up as the wrong version of myself."

I watched my mother pack her bags when I was eight. She had stayed twelve years because that's what women did. Because leaving meant failure. Because the church said marriage was sacred. Standing in that doorway, I learned two things I didn't know I had learned: love is supposed to hurt. And you stay anyway.

I carried those lessons forward invisibly into every relationship that followed.

"Eight engagements. One divorce. I had read every book. Done the therapy. Attended the workshops. I knew better. I was not choosing better."

I became a certified dating coach while privately still cycling through the same patterns with different men. The problem was not my picker. It was my frequency.

Then in 2024, Human Design found me. I saw Gate 40 and Gate 44 on my chart and watched thirty years of relationship patterns stop looking like personal failure and start looking like a predictable algorithm running in the background of my life.

I wasn't broken. I was out of alignment with my own design. That recognition changed everything.
